Keiko Tsukui.:

Hello, I am Keiko Tsukui. I moved into Gyoda in 1978. Now Gyoda has become my second home town.

 This home town has rich heritages. Above all I am interested in the Sakitama Burial Mounds. I feel peace of mind when I am in this ancient grave yard. The  miraculous encounter for me is that 1400- to- 3,000- year- old lotus seeds were discovered in 1972 and in the next year the lotus had flowers. What a coincidence, Ancient Lotus Flowers and Ancient Grave Yard! Gyoda was also a castle town and very famous in Japanese socks industry.

It would be my great pleasure to introduce Gyoda City’s historical and cultural sites to foreign people.

 Welcome to Gyoda, and now is the time to expand your curiosity!

 北浦 玥;
